I have a problem with a Hercules 3D Prophet II GTS Pro 64 MB. I bought it second-handed for 25$ but there's a problem. I get these artifacts when I start up my pc. It's probably because it's overclocked by the previous owner. Is there any way to fix this?
Overclocking is only active in windows, so if it happens as soon as you turn it on then I'm afraid he's busted it. Sold you a piece of s***.
He's most probably damaged the traces by prying the HSF off with a screwdriver.
