I recently installed a music server, EDNA, and it is really awesome, but what sucks is that it displays on the taskbar. Is there someway I can get it to run as a service or keep it running by have it not be displayed?

the link below says it can be done on NT, but I am running XP. The NT method just does not seem to work.

My theory of how I can get it to still be running by not be shown is by creating a shortcut, putting that in the start up folder and changing the target to "C:\edna\edna.py"-hide

but that doesn't work. I am not sure on how those nice little "-" things work, I just kinda took a guess after seeing them in use on other programs.

thanks in advance.

to use the command after the file name there needs to be a space inbetween the file and the - for example
"C:\edna\edna.py" -hide
not "C:\edna\edna.py"-hide
