Is there any 3rd party system logging software that will provide better info than the win 7 event logger?

Event viewer just isnt cutting the mustard.

Cheers for the replies, and the questions. I was having trouble thinking of how to describe what i was after.

Something that will run in the background and monitor what the system is doing, similar to a log viewer on an android device.

a few times over the past couple of weeks the rig has frozen, lost network connectivity, unable to log on but it is still running..... its all very weird.

Event Viewer doesnt show anything that would cause concern.
