Kind of but only temporarily. A lot of guys are helping the F@H Team right now. I expected a decline this time. On the flip side our RAC was rather high back in Mar because Folders were helping us with the Gauntlet. It evens out. :)

Another thing that makes it look bad is how close several of the teams are in RAC. It doesn't take much of a change, just 10-20k, for 2-3 positional changes on the list. Our average this year has been mid-600k (actually calculates to 643k for the 16 Leaderboard posts this year) so we're only ~8k off the yearly average this week. Duner would more than make up for that and we have lost his output for now due to connection issues ...

Wait... we had a gauntlet in March? o_O

Either way, congrats to everyone :) Half a billion :D Onwards to 1 billion! (I reckon we should all do something extra special for that)

Wasn't it March? No? February? January? LOL!

It was last November, and they helped us big time! I think they added around 175k in RAC. I am helping out the folding@home team for the Chimp Challenge so my 28K RAC or so will be gone for a bit... though I am planning on coming back. I also encourage everone else to help out if they can. It would be nice to help them win it!

Jeez, I think my age is starting to show ... :chair:

Jeez, I think my age is starting to show ... :chair:

If it helps, I didn't realise it was my 21st birthday a couple weeks back until I logged into OCF and saw my name on the "Today's Birthdays" section.

Was wondering about the March gauntlet thing, as I really can't remember what month I'm in half the time :p.... I haven't had any alcohol for 3 years either, so I can't even blame it on that :p

'tis the Matrix, I swear!

My RAC has dropped significantly. Last week I turned off downloading new files for my i5 in advance of building a new AMD X6 rig with dual GTX 470. I had already dismantled the WC and set the i5 to default stock clock with stock air cooler.

The AMD mobo died about 36 hours, still waiting for replacement to show up. I did notice something interesting with my i5 and its RAC:

when it was overclocked to 4GHz, I was averaging 8000/day but at stock speed it is 5200/day. If you took the CPU speed in MHz and double it, it matches the RAC so RAC scales linearly with overclocking.

May is upon us and the Chimp Challenge is in full swing prompting many of our members to help our Folding cousins so the list is a little short this time around. It's late in the day as well, while I usually do this early morning, so I'm going to jump right in.

startrekforever has crashed the 17,500,000 Milestone!

Jeff made his mark on the 6,000,000 Milestone!

Careface has blasted into the Top 30!

none1 took the 1,500,000 Milestone and slid into the Top 75!!

Tacoswindez both crunched past the 750,000 Milestone!!

Thideras took a slot in the Top 125!

Kryten451 made the 500,000 Milestone and pushed into the Top 150!!

Serenity blasted the 250,000 and 300,000 Milestones racing by the Top 200 landing in the Top 175!!!!
