Monitor adjustment/calibration

Is there any good walkthrough on setting up monitor adjustments and calibrations? The image on my monitor either has warped edges or is out of alignment when I change resolutions.

just get it so it fits in the screen then work your way out so it fits....it's not hard really....just takes a minute

We all wish it was that easy , it sounds like the OP needs to correct some geometry settings.

OP, if you own a standard CRT tube monitor, Nokia monitor test is one of the best free calibration tools you'll find...i highly recommend it:
