motherboard buying question

what will be the BEST amd motherboard out by christmas? some variation of the nforce2 no doubt.. im buying a new computer for christmas and what would you guys recommend? also does xp26/700 oc any better than a 2400?

ahh after using a k6-2 500 for so many years it will be great to get a new system
