MSN Live Messenger - How to Add Smileys

I am using Windows Live Messenger V8.1, Where does MSN store its emotion files and how to add new ones to it? I have found a folder in C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Messenger\MSN USER ID\ObjectStore However, when I transfer the file names directly to that folder and then reopen MSN they are not there.

So, I need some help figuring this out, if it is a complex process please write a step by step.
