My cpu water pump are making weird noise

I have built a new computer and I'm using Asus X99 motherboard with i7-6850K cpu and I'm using water cpu cooling for the first time.
I hooked up my Corsair hydro H100i v2 cooler to the 4-pin cpu_fan, I tried to hook it to 4-pin w_pump but then i coulden't start my computer.

Is this right?

The three pin single sensor wire needs to be plugged into the CPU sensor on the mobo.
