I am hearing everywhere that the OCZ can do [email protected] 2.8v which is even a bit further than I want to go. I only want 270 so I think that the OCZ is the best bet for me.

What do you guys think?

If those are retail, and your mobo has up to 3.0v - 3.1v then I would get the Ballistix.

The only reason I say retail over the OEM is because you have the chance of getting some sticks that isn't the .16T. I would email them and ask if they are retail.

I Don't have good enough cooling to run my memory at that high voltage.

I decided upon the Crucial Ballistix instead of the OCZ Rev.2 I just couldnt justify spending an extra 50 dollars on the Rev.2 I will run the crucial on a divider and some tight timings and that will be that. I think I made the right choice.

Do you?

the balistix should hit 270 with 2-3-3-x timmings with like 2.9 - 3v from what ive seen

*edit*
i meant 2.5-2-2-x or 3-2-2-x :)
