Hi the all

Can you tell me how far can i go with the Temps ??
Ive had my P4 2.4b(533) clocked @ 2.8 with my zalman heatsink for about 6 months and stable ....just put voltage up tp 1.650 volts and up clocked up to 3.0 gig and seems stable ....( @ the mo)

What temps are to high? iam @ 37.5 oc @ idle and 470 oc when playing games...

is this to high??

hm..
the low temerature is mean nothing
cose high voltage destroying chip
u have voltage in some acceptable range
(think that 1,70v is max for proc's long life )
... so if u have awesome cooling and chip on 1.90v
this voltage is still fry ur proc ... no matter on low temps

I have almost the same setup as you do, its running fine, temps are not a problem if you have good airflow in your case.

P4 2.4b @ 3.0 -1.625v
Zalman CNPS7000B-AlCu
Abit IC7
2x512 MB Corsair PC3200 @ 415
Radeon 9700pro @ 380/350

Yeah, I have the same setup, 2.4b@3 on a Zalman 7000-AlCu -1.625v and it's been fine. Running like that for about a year and a half. My temps are 35ºC Folding 24/7 ^_^
