Hmm... I would tell you to do other things, but you probably beat me to it. I'm just confused since the board looks just fine. So it boots and cycles and won't POST. Have you tried the POST without a graphics card in? Maybe using on-board?
Yep, done both. It's the motherboard. The fact that it immediately powers down like there's a short when you plug in the 4-pin auxilliary power connector whether the CPU is installed or not kind of elminates everything else.
