My Asus P2B mobo has a few connector blocks around the board for the purpose of connecting a 12v cooling fan. The manual specifies the connectors are for fans of 500mA (6W). I'm not entirely sure if these are suitable for the case fans I wish to use
(I checked the specs on one of my case fans, and it says its a 12v, .13a). Can anyone confirm if this is the equivalent to "500mA 6W", and if indeed it is safe to connect a std. 12v case fan to the Asus fan connectors? (The manual *does* say something about "damage may occur to the motherboard and/or CPU fan if these pins are incorrectly used....)
