I just built a new system, and I noticed that the SATA cables are VERY loose and fall out if you happen to be working near them and nudge the cable. I’ve also notice that the ends break easy, as I’ve broken BOTH cables supplied with the motherboard. Before I abandon the poorly engineered SATA cable setup and exchange my HDD for a ATA 133 model, I would like some suggestions to solve these problems.

PS: I saw 90º round SATA cables and thought they would be sturdier and stay on better. What do you think?

Thanks in advance,
Kyle

Just use a little hot melt glue to hold them in, a small bead after the connector is inserted and not before, DOHHHHHHHHH

Yeah, earlier SATA cables had this problem a lot. If you get newer ones, they'll probably be fine.
