I read the MaximumPC magazine like it is a sin not to. I also install/uninstall programs every month when I get the CD with the Magazine. I don't know if any of that has anything to do with my problem, but here is the problem.
When I try to install any program that runs in 16 bit, it won't install. It gives me an error saying something about win32bit can't run 16bit Apps. It does no good to change the Compatability mode of the program to Win98/Me, or Win95.
I have run System Mechanic 5 to fix the registry, and it found 221 errors, but that didn't stop the problem.
Any idea's?
Anyone know what the run command to check for corrupted files is?
BTW I am running WindowsXP Pro Teachers/Students edition.
