Need moar information... what motherboard? What have you tried already? Update the BIOS to the latest? Can you manually select x16 from that dropdown off auto?

What slot is the card in? The only x16 slot is the top slot. If im reading it roght, from your image, the only slot the bios says is populated is the x4.

From your bios image, the slot that's populated is the SECOND (not x16) slot... which is x4. If you have something in the top slot the motherboard isn't recognizing it.

Gen 3 pcie still runs x4.

It's supposed to... read your manual.... second slot is 3.0 x4.

Are you saying the 3080ti is in the top slot and the board isn't recognizing it?

Do you see PCIEX16(G5) on that bios page? THAT is the x16 slot and is not pictured in your image (I misspoke earlier saying it wasn't detected.... its not listed in the image.

At this point, I think you're reading things wrong. Match the slot name in this image with the spot in the bios..
