Test Out BF3 for the Front Page? - 2600K Required for Uniformity

Hey guys...here are the results from my testing. Every run had a hiccup except for one, which is why my minimum frame-rate is 0 on all but that single run. I usually have vertical sync turned on and I do not see these hiccups.

I also ran three runs at the same settings at my normal 2560x1600 resolution.

It'd be really cool to compare your hex against the 2600K though...esp since you can run it at the same clock.....can you run your video memory any faster, I'm running my cars at 925/2300, it'd be neat to see the difference apples to apples between our rigs thobel :thup:

I did a quick and dirty run 2560x1600 4.5 stock gpu Ultra Settings

Thanks Miah, Jiccman & Thobel!

EDIT - Wow, Tri-SLI 580's kicks the snot out of trifire 6970.

OT: How to put Rig info @ Sig?

That's not bad rakin...but can you run your CPU at 4.5GHz?
also, is 775/1000 the default speed on those 460s?

OT - for your sig, click on "user cp" at the top ;)

It didn't used to be there (spam prevention), but it's safe to assume you're not a spammer. Check now. :)

Miah brings up a good point, are you able to run your CPU at that level?

Re: Tri-Sli vs quad-fire. ::rofl:

I can do this with my GTX570 1280MB over the long weekend. I lost my second GTX570 and the mobo slot it was in :( otherwise I could give you those results. I'm not expecting the RMA to be back for a few weeks.

I just palyed a long round for 42 minutes, video setting of Ultra GTX 480 SLI 800/1600/2000 vert sync off.

RAM is only DDR3 1600 and CPU clocked at 4.6 GHz. Not sure if this ASRock board does 4.5 I can repeat if you need me to.

Ram doesn't make a difference, but if you have the time to do it tonight, I'd be grateful if you could run them at 4.5. If you can't do it tonight, don't worry about it. You'll be the last result regardless!

Thanks to everyone that participated! The article should be up soon.
