I first came to Joseph Gordon Levitt by way of "Brick" while couchsurfing at a warmer apartment during the coldest week of Chicago's brutal Winter.

At first I cursed myself as I allowed my Amazon Prime account to expire before I could pick it up new for $7.49... with free 2 day shipping.

Then I realized I could just pick up a used copy for $1.50 and... even WITH shipping... I'd have enough money left over to pick up the same director's second film: The Brother's Bloom.

...which you can get used for 67 cents.

By the time you watch those two movies you're not going to want to stop there. So what would stop you from picking up 500 Days of Summer for $10 shipped?

We do what we can!

No dice with the girl though (which is fine by me, her boyfriend's a great guy). We just had dinner, drinks, and an extremely good time.

"Once" was... at the same time not as bad as I thought it was going to be... and not as good as the box said it was. It was a fine movie for such a low budget. And it never really sunk down to being cheezy. So I'm happy to have it in my arsenal for when girls are over.

This is not the best deal on DVDS i got though! I have to tell you all a story!

My gf and I made friends with this nerdy dude at a Ma n Pa video store near us. Exchanged rare foreign film recommendations and what not. Well, the place goes out of business. We go there the last day, and this kid totally gives us a deal, ALL DVDS (including Porn) for $1 each, what he was paying for it! We spent like 88$ there and got soooo many movies! We bought him a bottle of Crown Royale for this favor, although he did not ask for it. Yes he was 21! Cool HUH!
