I'm upgrading my cpu/mb/ram to am5. My choiof the MB is Asus proart x670e-creator wifi (because of two pcie 5.0 slots connected to the cpu, built in 10 gig nic and 4 m.2 slots) and ryzen 9 7950x.

There are two sticks of ram on the MB QVL that match the size and speed I'd like and are available at similar prices.

G.SKILL F5-6000J3040G32GX2-TZ5NR 2x 32GB cl30 1.4V

Kingston KF560C32RWAK2-64 2x32 cl32 1.35V

I'm thinking about going for g.skill as I was never dissatisfied with that choice, also better cl, but I thought to ask here just in case I'm making a horrible mistake?

With my 5650x the goal was to maximise performance. This platform will have more than enough so my goal will be to run it more energy efficient and cooler. Kingston ram although slower runs at 50mV less. I have no idea how much extra wattage and heat can this mean in ddr5?

Either or won't make a difference. DDR5 RAM only uses a few watts under load so, the 50mv kfference isn't going to matter much at all (a watt and a couple of degrees).
