I really think the temperatures are irrelevnat. they depend on the individual CPU, overclock settings, ambient temperature, and the method of collecting the data to read them. The highest I allow one of my palominos to reach is 56C (in a 90F room, read by external probe), the coolest temps on one of my Tbreds I've had was in the winter when the ambient temperature of the room was below freezing (20C read by external probe).

SLK800A with tornada 80mm 84cfm fan.

2100+ AIUHB 0301, 210x10.5, Globalwin WBK68 with all the crap in the sig and two additional case fans. Right now, my basement is a bit hot , ambient is 34-36C, load is somewhere around 52-54C, idles around 45-47C. I'm waiting for winter to come back around, I'll move it out to the unheated sunroom! :)

We'll see what happens when I finally get an SK-7 (next time I go to Toronto) and point the Comair Rotron at it (235CFM). It's the overvolting for you, 0301...

Dual AthlonXP2100+s @ 1.55V cooled with two Speeze VultureSpin coolers - which I will be writing a review on soon :).

Temps usually sit around 48 to 50C load for CPU1 and 52 to 55C load for CPU2; depends on ambient temp.

Barton2500+ at 200x11 (xp3200+) with arctic cooling copper silent 2 TC (20 dezibel max!!)
42 to 48 idle
50 to 58 load
The fan is temperature controlled so it gets a bit hot for a short time and then the fan ups its RPM a bit.
It's not too cool but it's rocksolid stable and it'so silent i can leave the PC on while sleep! (same room) :D

Might add that that cooler is 10 bucks. :)

current setup is 947u on my +2500 @ 180x12.5 1.67v core.

diode 37 idle 45load with my Smartfan II at 4500rpm
case temp is 25c.

Ceramique has only been on there 2 days at this point.

Dragon, did you have any problems installing the Aerocool? I read in a review that it was hard to get the thing mounted.

Dr Thermal Ti-V7725L
45 idle, 51 load

are there some guides on installing the temp sensor on smart case fans II? since I have no idea where and how to stick it :) and would like to buy it, it would be sooo helpful.. thx

Don't bother with the sensor, it doesn't kick into high until 55C. Use the manual control.

It is alot harder than any other cpu hsf for the athlon i've seen.

anyways, I have a shuttle heatpipe, and temps stay in the upper 30's idle in about a 70-72 degree room. Load they are around 46.

Temps will vary system to system of course, depending on system components, case cooling, fsb and room temp.

With a room temp of 75 degrees F, on my shuttle an35n and a 2500+ @ 3200+ (11x200) I use a slk900a with a 92mm tornado attached to a sunbean fan controller.

I run it at a fairly quiet 2600, never on top speed unless for testing.

idle - 35c
load 39c

I use a temp sensor on the bottom of my cpu.

W00t! I just strapped on my new SK7 that arrived today!

Stable at 46C load/42C idle! The only way I could do even close to that before was let it boil coffee at 58C. The SK7 is doing at _least_ 10C better under most circumstances than my old aluminum piece of crap (granted the piece of crap was designed for a Palomino 1800+, but still...)
AXDA AIUHB 2100+ 0301MPMW

Had it running at 237x10.5, but had to back it down a bit (not prepared to give it 2v just yet, not without something for the MOSFETs). It's running at 1.9v. God, I need another stick of DDR, that dual-channel 333 would go really well with my 460FSB. I wonder if I can push the FSB to 533...
