I've done several repairs of worse than that..People are amazing. That is bad though. Haven't had any burn quite like that.. Gross Cigarettes make for some nasty stuff inside there too.

And he does not smoke...go figure.. The dust is so caked on, I'll have to boil the heat sink to get it off... However, the board is blown too. I put a new CPU in, and nada! oh well...

Bad luck for the owner, Hardly. That machine should of been consigned to computer heaven years ago. I'd say its a blessing, gives the owner a chance to get a new one.
