I have been using Nero 6.3 XXX and Roxio 6 for packet writing of back ups. My question is why does the process of backing up the data, consume more space on the disc, then the actual data being written?
Obviously adding more data to an existing disc will use up more storage space. But in my case, what I have seen is that I can take the same exact files and burn it from scratch, and it will contain 400 mbs. If I do the exact same thing with the Nero / Roxio software the same data will consume almost 500 - 600 mbs on the disc in incremental data writes???
