Built new computer but no video

MB: Foxconn SIS661FX7MMF-RS Foxconn webiste
CPU: 530J


I tried putting this together and I can hear everything turn on, the cpu fan spins, etc but the monitor does not show anything on the screen. The MB has onboard video. I do not know what the problem is? Any suggestions for me to try out.

Hmm first thing to check I think would be that your memory and CPU are seated properly.

Try and see if the motherboard is grounded or not. Take it out of the case, seat just the cpu, ram, and grahpics card and try to turn it on then. If that works, then its obviously one of your pieces that are plugged in that are causing it to not run.

got it to work... the memory wasn't press in all the way... it's aways the stupidest things
