P5GD1 IDE problem, please help (resolved)
I installed 2x PATA hard drives to the primary IDE 100, then I installed 2x optical drives to the IDE RAID ports, which are supposed to be able to act as regular IDE ports. When I boot up the bios only recognizes the hard drives, but during the boot sequence the IDE RAID recognizes the optical drives.
How do I make the bios recognize the optical drives so that I can boot from CD?
EDIT:
I figured it out, had to put the hard drives on the raid IDE, and the opticals on the regular IDE. Why, I don't know, but it works.
