Bank Cycle Time too high?

The SPD tab in CPUz should tell you what your ram is rated for.

If not, drop it a bit and test with Prime95 Blend for a few hours.
 
Ahh duh, I am an idiot! Of course, it says it is at 48 stock. 40 it is very stable but I always wonder if it could be better. ;) That is, until I start running into data loss :p

Well, I dropped the Bank Cycle Time to 38 and had some interesting results. I tested Memory Read, Memory Write, Memory Copy and Memory Latency with Everest Ultimate 4 consecutive times before changing the Cycle Time. I recorded those. Then changed the setting and tested again. I also recorded those. I have attached the spreadsheet to this post and you will see the improvement. Almost too much for me to believe! Over 175 average more MB/s read with that one little change! :shock:

I am testing the memory with P95 right now to make sure it is stable and so far so good! :attn:
