I just got a 1600+ AGOIA to replace the working 1600+ AGKGA

The problem is that it crashes at stock speed!

I had it at 156 FSB for 16 hours of Prime95 and it found no errors.

And when I try to run a program it crashes.

  • Vcore 1.85
  • Memory Voltage Stock
  • AGP Voltage stock
  • Memory timings relaxed

Is the core chipped? A FOAF had a corner chipped off of his core, and apparantly that little chip caused the proc. to be unstable at default speeds. It was a 700. He had to run it at 667.

Brand Spanking New.

I have ran it for a few hours and it seems to being doing ok :\

Hope it just needs a good burn in
