what motherboard (chipsets) will the new cedarmill presslers run on, do they work with the 955's or are they only for 975's and up? i havent found a clear answer.. thanks!

From what I understand that is correct. They will still work on the 975x mobo also of course though.
The Merom and Conroe I know will require the 975x.
