About time for i5

We all might as well just wait for the Gulftown 6 core 12 threads. 32nm as well. Only issue I think it's going only to work in the 1366 mobos.

You would fit really well with me in the D class...i5 750 will be the best chip for the class (or PII on LN2)...and its the only setup I plan to run for the Warz. :D

I'm sitting very stable at this BCLK. I might pull out one dimm next week and run with 6GB of ram and see what I can come up with. We'll see!

I just ran a bunch of test altogether........BUT, a weird thing just happenned.
The first two tests I ran was SuperPI 1M and CINEBENCHR10....they are shown as 21*205 = 4300MHz......then all of the tests after that it had lost 1 multiplier.
So, right now I don't know what the actual scores are based on after the first two.
(pictures are in order as they were tested)

DISABLED: C1E, C3/C6/C6, EIST, Turboboost....but only enabled LLC

If you hit TDP, it probably throttled down...but it should pop back up after temp/current drop

I don't think temps were the problems. It is still at 20 multipliers.......Test were done about 15mins ago.
These are the settings

21*205
Vcore 1.43125v
Dram: 1.66v SPD 8; 999-24 820MHz
PPL 1.90v
QPI/VTT 1.35v
PCH 1.14
QPI Clock x32
PCI Express Frequency 104
CPU Clock Drive 800mV
PCI Express Clock Drive 900mV
LLC ENABLED
C1E; C3/C6/C7; EIST; Turbo Boost = DISABLED

Idle 1.408v Load 1.424

Does it need any adjustment MiaHallen?

You guys can call me "Miah" :D

Intel chips throttle for TDP or temps...most enthusiast boards BIOS have an option to turn it off...what board you running? GB UD3R right? Look for it with the power saving features...something about temps (I'm at work and cannot check ATM).

Miahallen, I am 4th place for i5s under you.

Gonna be hard to beat 4770X2 and a GTX 280
Like I said before...your mostly CPU limited right now...besides, it wouldn't be hard, you have more VGA power than those guys (well, about the same as the 4770x2) ;)

edit - what's your HWBot username? Can you link your submissions?

@MIAHALLEN: Yeah....OK....and yes I use P55-UD3R
I know what you meant. There was one feature that I left on auto. Thanks.

I guess...the last 3 tests from above are scraps. :(

If you guys like this benching stuff...you should really consider joining the benching team, its a ton of fun and you'll learn more than you can imagine

Click the link in my sig ;)

Fixed it. i can't tell you how disappointed when I noticed I was using 05 and looking at 06.

It is gonna be tough to beat those scores, especially without special cooling.

Decent CPU speed through Vantage! I scored about 21K on air the other day:

SPI32M needs some work though...
SPI32M is a tough bench...very tweakable. At that CPU speed it should be able to run in under 8:30 ;) But, considering your OS, and mem speeds, it's not bad :)
