help

i have the new asus a7v 400 and it was working fine till the other day i tried an old modem in it. and then is started it up and it turned on for 10 sec and then turned off. so i removed the modem and the same so i cleared the cmos and then turned it in and the same incept no post beep and a blank screen all my fans are running and another thing is the red light is on but my graphics card is compatible because it was running a few days ago please help
