the difference is that if u get cl 2 u get more fps then u would get with cl 2.5

CL2 is guaranteed to run at CAS Latency 2 at whatever speed the RAM is. So, PC2700 C2 will run 166MHz at CAS Latency 2. Which results in lower latency so data runs through the memory faster.

The Cas is the clock cycles of the memory, CAS2 is faster the cas2.5
The lower the latency the faster the transaction burst
