Can "1/2" ID Clearflex 60 fit over "3/4" OD barbs?

I know the "1/2" ID can fit over "5/8" barbs, though has anyone tried fitting the tubing over "3/4"?

Can it work or not?

yes it can .. that's what I'm doing right now ..make sure to use clamps .. just in case

Would be a tight fit though.. I dipped the end in hot water in order to get the tubes on my 5/8 barbs all the way.

Yeah it will fit.

I have it over my Eheim's standard inlet.

Was a MAJOR Biaa to get over though. Hot water and WD40 did it for me.

I also used a hose clap for extra security but the fit is so tight you could almost get away without one.
