Icons frozen on desktop

I'm really not sure what happened or how long its been like this either. ... here's whats going on. I cannot move any icons on my desktop. And I don't have auto arrange checked either. any ideas?

What OS are you running? And is it possible that there is some rogue program causing this?

runing windows XP pro sp1.
and I don't think so.... I'm not running anything abnormal. Just norton, winamp, trillian, stylexp....

lets you apply different themes and color schemes for XP.

like my task bar and windows have this cool blue theme going on.

ok, im extremely confused but ok.......

I disabled stylexp and found I could move my icons again. then I reenabled it and I could still move my icons.

I guess it was a ******* rogue program.

thanks, I never would have considered any of those programs to have any effect like that.

So there was just something screwy going on with StyleXP and reloading it solved the problem. Thats good to hear!
