I have a 1.5 willy..and don't want to get rid of it..

I want a better motherboard and cooling(other threads)

Is it worth it to get a 478 motherboard and use an adaptor to fit my 1.5 into it, rather than getting a 423 motherboard.

I guess, find out the cost of the mobo and the adapter, make a comparison.

Don't forget if you need other bits like new RAM on that new mobo.

pricewatch had two adapters for about $20.

much cheaper than buying a new mobo. Plus the 478 mobos should perform better. Also most 423 boards use RDram, so going 478 should be the cheaper road.

yeah, I am using everything that I already have, thats processor and RAM..

I'll try to find an adaptor for cheaper somewhere..

So does anyone know of a good mobo that I could use with a willy?

It has to be fairly cheap though..like 40-50 range.

that is a really nice one, but I need it to support DDR... :(

thx a lot for the link to that mobo, im probably gonna get it!
i got 512mb of pc800 rdram lying around as well as a p4 1.8 cpu!
hope they all still work!
