Weird thing here

Im gf has a Amptron 825 , the other day she went to boot it. whell it poped up it read her DVD-rom , but no hard drives. so i restarted it still nothing. go in to the bio's nothing there. So im thinking i had a old Amptron 830 and it did the same thing. in mine the IDE 1 died. so i switch the IDE cables and restart and it read DVD and tewo hard drives.

with
Hard drives on IDE 1 and DVD on IDE 2 = only DVD

or

Hard Drives on IDE 2 and DVD on IDE 1 = All are working

what would make this happen. i tryed switching back and only the DVD works. im happy everything still works its just weird

Are the slave/master jumpers right?

lol , Amptron is a crap of a board maker. the two board's have had no bio's options.

as for the jumpers there all set right. it ran fine for over a year with no problems

So i dont know what did it , just thought it was weird and thought id share it with everyone
