whats a better psu and whats the diffrences OR SHOULD I CHOOSE A DIFFRENT KIND?

Thermaltake Butterfly Purepower 480W
OR
Thermaltake - Silent Purepower 480W

my specs are:
amd 64 3200+
epox 8kda3+
kingston hyper x 512
and im planning to get a 6800 ultra

If you are dead set on Thermaltake, there is nothing wrong with thenm I use one, I would chose the Butterfly pure

For the money you spend on the ThermalTake you get a much better power supply.

In my humble opinion.

I think what they're trying to say is buy a Fortron or an Antec instead

The ThermalTake I am using isn't that great (silent purepower 480w thingy). The 5v is too high. WAY to high. It once got up to 5.27, it just has to be returned.

If I had to get one of those I'd also go with the Thermaltake Butterfly Purepower 480W

but....

for a few dollars less you can get this 400w Fortron which (most here would agree) will outperform and/or outlast both of those thermaltakes.
