Hi
I have a 200gb WD Hard Drive in an external hard drive case. When I go
to turn the hard drive on it makes a clicking sound as if the drive
is locked up, and the motor cannot move the platters, maybe
a ball bearing is out of place etc.
I have tested the case and power supply and both seem to be working correctly.
The drive is about 4 months old (still under warranty) and is only used once a week to backup data. There is currently about 80gb of data on the drive.
Does any one have any ideas on what i could do???
Or atleast where i could send the drive to be repaired?
Thanks
