I just got a a8v and 144 opteron and ever since i upgraded ive had this issue where i boot up windows and after about 10 seconds my computer would freeze up and the screen would go black. i know for a fact its not my motherboard or any of the pci devices attached. so im left only with my video card. it worked completely fine with my a7v8x.... what would it be about this motherboard that is causing the videocard to freak out?

its not overclocked at all. im using a fortron 400 watt. (its the same PSU i used when i had the a7v8x.)
Edit: the psu actually might be the cause because its doing the black out thing real bad right now and it just happens to be when i have two friends over so ya..... we are drawing a lot of power.
