This Contest is officially suspended for the Chimp Challenge. All challenges that were made were to hold off or beat your opponent before may 4th noon pacific time and that time has passed. Great folding everybody! I have pulled that stats but I have not processed or posted them yet. We will have a second run where new challenges will be issued, This will happen about 24 hours after the end of the chimp challenge. Contest entrys earned from this run and the next run will go towards the prizes. Look for a new thread in the future with the announcement for the next challenge run.


I think we can all agree here that our arch nemesis is the MPC Folding team, Perhaps we should start some rivalry's of our own.


INTRODUCING THE 3RD INSTALLMENT IN THE APRIL CONTEST, LETS GET SOME RIVALRY GOING!!!!!!!!!!!

The objective of this thread is to encourage Team32 members to duke it out in a battle royale to increase team production.

Declare Your arch Nemesis today!

Requirements for someone to be arch nemesis worthy...

0. You need to be folding for Team32 to participate
1. They must be an active Team32 member Or you need to be a top 20 producer to challenge someone folding for another team.
2. They must not be in your overtake radar for at least 30 days OR they need to be set to overtake YOU in less than 15 days. (in other words you gotta declare someone to be your arch nemesis that will be a challenge for you. )
3. Your objective will then be to Overtake them or Prevent them from overtaking you by the end of the contest period (may 4th).


How contest entries will be awarded...

If you declare that you will pass someone by the end of the contest and you do then you will get 2 contest entries.

If someone declares that they are going to pass you and you submit a counter challenge to prevent them from doing so and you do, then you get 5 contest entries.

If you declare that you will pass someone by the end of the contest and they file a counter challenge back to stop you, yet you still pass them then you will receive 5 contest entries.

Same applies if you state you are going to stop someone from passing you and they counter challenge that they will overtake yet you still stop them, then you get 5 contest entries.

Simplified....
U Challenge them, and you win = 2 entries
U Challenge them, they challenge you back, you win anyways = 5 entries
They challenge you, you challenge back, you win = 5 entries


Making Multiple Challenges...

This is allowed but there is a catch... If you fail to win even one of your challenges then the total number of contest entries earned from all successful combined challenges will be reduced to 2 contest entries.


Another Example.

I make 5 challenges to 5 different people, 3 of them challenge me back.

If I meet all of my challenges then I will get 19 contest entries, However, If I fail to meet just one challenge then my total number of contest entries received will be reduced to TWO.





Rules.

1. You must be folding for Team 32
2. You may only challenge Team 32 members (challenging other people on other teams is a pain to track)
2A. I will make an exception to this rule for any of our TOP 20 FOLDERS (it can get kinda lonely at the top). Any of our top 20 Folders may make a challenge to anyone in Folding At home weather they belong to another team or not. The statistic used will be the Project rank and not the team rank.
2B. People not folding for Team 32 may not challenge our top 20 folders, however if one of our top 20 folders challenges you then you may Challenge them back.
3. No playing the sleeper game (what I mean by this is no intentionally shutting down part of your farm to make it look like your PPD is low then making challenges and then turning your farm back on and blowing past the people you would normally have passed within 30 days had your farm been at full strength from the getgo. I do not think that this will be a problem however I have stated it in the rules such that if it does become a problem and you are caught doing something like this, then your contest entries may be revoked.

These rules are put in place to maintain fairness and are subject to change upon the contest Administration's discretion... If you have any issue with any of the rules or have any advice about how to improve them, PM me, I will gladly hear you out.

You don't have to remove your contest entry just because you can't get a hold of fly fisher. You can still earn 2 contest entries, even if he does not respond. Of course, you get 5 entries if he does challenge you back.
