upgrade time

Im in need of an upgrade. My hd2900pro 512mb card is getting old.
Thinking of getting this one.

Now would this card do a better job? Trying to save money. So dont tell to buy some monster card.

and budget please.

you may want to go another step higher than the 4670, i don't know if you'll see much of an increase in performance going to it.

i'd go for 4870 or the 5770 if you plan on playing any dx11 games. if 4870 try to get a 1gb version. you'd have to stretch your budget a bit more for either unless you can find an awesome deal on the 4870. If not either of these you'll be pleased with a 4850 or 5750 as well i would think. 4850's are becoming scarce.

You are probably looking at an HD4850 1GB, or GTS250 1GB for that budget new.

5770 and hd4870 1gb are good options but a bit over that budget.

yeah. I dont want to pump too much money into it. Im trying to sell it so i can build a new system. Just wana spruce it up a bit
