Hey guys, first thing, system specs:

CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 960t
Mobo: Gigabyte 970A-ud3
RAM: 8GB G.Skill DDR3-2000
GPU: 7800GT
PSU: Corsair 750 watt

I'm using this for a rack mount server (hence the ancient GPU ). My question is a linux question. When attempting to unlock the cores of this CPU, will Ubuntu (10.10) show the new cores as soon as I reboot, or will another change need to be made?

Thanks,

Damn! Mines only 4 cores then...:bang head

Oh well...I got what I paid for. Was hoping for that little extra, but no dice this time apparently.
