PLEASE, this is the reason why i am not watercooling yet, i can't see the difference between the two, also can't understand how come there is a 1/2" id and 3/8" od since 1/2" is larger than 3/8" :bang head

could you please help me understand the difference between the 2 sizes ?

1/2" = 1.27 centimeters
3/8" =0.9525 centimeters

how come the inside size of the tube is larger than the outside :S

You may want to read your link, and my post again...

3/4" is larger than 1/2". So your example was fine (and not what you posted in the first post). As I said, for what values you posted in the first post, I am betting that was a typo.

There is 1/2"ID X 5/8"OD or 1/2"ID X 3/4"OD but 1/2"ID X 3/8"OD cannot exist. So start watercooling already.

Not to be rude, but if he isn't seeing the issue, he might want to take an extra week to double check everything.
