Hello guys , i am a newbie and i need help.
My CPU cooler is broken and i have to buy a new one.I consider to buy an RGB case fans as well. Unfortunately my mobo is Asus Z170-A , and there is not RGB header. I found some rgb fans with 6 pins , noticed that my current fans are connected to the PSU , so my question is - can i somehow connect 6 pin fans to my PSU ( obviouslly i can't connect them to the motherboard as it is 4 pin) or i have to find another fans with 3-4 pins ? The only solution that comes in my mind is cutting the 6 pin cable and replace it with 4 pin. Would like someone more experienced than me (guess that's 99% of you) to help me
