Probably just spotty prerelease drivers or something.
What drives me batty is the graphs themselves. They made the Nvidia baseline show as 100% on the graph but then 120% performance is a bar fully twice as high. It makes it hard to tell at a glance. Lies, damned lies, and statistics, I guess..

He's got the fan manually set to 20/30%. Temps are pretty low, considering that.

If you consider how much smaller the die size is than nVidias 200 series, it would be much harder to cool. Cant fit 4 heatpipes on a tiny die.
