If you want an 8500 get the Gigabyte Radeon from Newegg Refurb Section for $99

Even though its clocked at 250/250 it has features like hardware monitoring and is a better card than any Made By ATI cards imho

Skips got one and his does 320/320, your milage may vary but I havent heard one disapointed person with a Gigabyte 8500le

And Newegg has them IN STOCK, but act fast they sell out quick

Before you buy, you might want to check this out.

http://www.motherboards.org/articlesd/hardware-reviews/1189_1.html

It's a review of the Radeon 9000 Pro. It's at 275/550 with 4 ns RAM, for 80 bucks on Pricewatch. I think it'll beat the pants off of the 8500 anything.

the 9000 pro actually gets beat by 8500LE in some tests, the 8500LE retail version card by ATI or Gigabyte as SSS mentioned above is even better cause of some of its extras.

The 128 LE card is a good buy for the dollar. the 8500 is better bet than the 9000 pro. The 9000 pro's direct competition is the G4 MX series, the 8500 would more be compared to say G3 Ti500 or 4200, it gets beat out by the 4200 but is better than a Ti500 in most cases.....

check it out
