Hello guys! I've gotten around to trying something new while pushing my FX-6200, and I was just generally going to ask ya'll before I dig into it.

I've disabled two cores and am thus running 4 cores, which will enable me (I presume) to clock it even higher (I had it running Prime95 Torture test at 4.5GHz with 6 cores on through the night).

Any tips before I proceed? I'm running it all with a Phanteks PH-TC14PE.

The aim here is to push the gaming performance as far as it'll go stable, since all games I know of max out at 4 threads.

Try disabling and see what happens. It certainly will not harm the cpu so see what happens. Probably won't go a 'lot' higher on air either way.
