your reading "cpu" temp, this is the vrm section on the motherboard.
look at "amd 8350 temps this is the core temp line.
your cooler is doing fine, 49c is fine on the cores.

Try some more airflow over the voltage regulators. The MOSFETs will take the heat but the caps would fail earlier.
