I'm not sure if this should be a MB question or HD4000 question, but I'm getting ready to build a new "gaming" system and was going to use 1-7970 or 2-7950 in CF for my triple display. Now I'm going to hold off on the graphics card until the 8970 (retail) hits the streets. So I'm going to buy the other components(including the monitors).
I could just let the other monitors sit the boxs until the 8970 comes out, but I would like to run them. I know I wont be doing any 3-way gaming off the HD4000, but I would like to run all three.
Will th i7 and Extreme6 allow this? Can I run DVI/HDMI/DP simultaneously?

So if I'm understanding that correctly I can run at least 2(my monitors are VGA/DVI/HDMI). 1-DVI or HDMI and 1-DP to DVI(with an adapter)?

You shouldn't have to use the DisplayPort for two monitors, DVI + HDMI should work.

Just to show you how smart I am...
My HTPC has an ASRock H67M and an Intel G620. :eek:
I'll test it when I get home...:rolleyes::D
