Just noticed something...how many power phases do that MVG and MVIG have? Because in these pictures of the MVG, I see 12 total VRMs (all situated around the CPU socket), but in these pictures of the MVI gene, I only see 10 total VRMs (8 by the CPU socket and 2 more to the right of the RAM slots). Am I missing something?

In any case, getting mine (and a 4770K) delivered tomorrow!

There are ten, not just on the gene, but up to the extreme too. Asus decided stronger phases are more important than a massive number of them. Each one of those chokes is rated to 60 amps.
