Just update my Maximus 4 extreme z68 mobo bios today to the latest version today, and when i turn on the pc, it will not boot in to window, i got a American Medatrent screen can it say: CPU fan error, please PRESS F1 to enter setup.
I don't know what happen here, is this a bad bios update or what?

I have a water block on top of it, it my back up pc, custom loop
Another thing is it will not save my setting too, i try to oc it to 4.2ghz and it not working.

American Megatrends is what it says there (the bios maker). ;)

I believe you should have an option in that bios to disable that fan header or something along those lines. Look through your bios.

Yeah, that's why you're getting a CPU Fan error, since there isn't one.

Do what Redduc said.

Thank you all of you guy for quick respond, after looking at my rig, i have find out what the problem is, i connect the exhaust fan to the CPU fan, and some how it die so i keep getting an error message but after i switch to a new exhaust fan, it working ok.
