Im decided to sell CORSAIR DOMINATOR PLATINUM 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3 DRAM 2400MHz (CMD16GX3M4A2400C9)
and want buy G.Skill TridentX ..I also like red look of ram
With dominator ram I cant boot with 2400 mhz speed and I can boot with 2133 mhz ..but computer blue screen or frozen.
Is it better to go with 4x4gb or 2x8gb?
Will the RAM run in something beyond Dual Channel if there is 4 Dimms?
Also, what model of G.Skill do you all suggest?
Any suggestions around a slower speed memory or higher speed?
Im also think about deliding cpu..can this help achieve more memory speed?
cpu i7 3770K 4.6 1.3V
asus maximus formula V
gtx 680 sc 2gb
Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB SSD
monitor YAMAKASI 30 inch 2560x1600
custom watercooling loop

You won't find better memory than Dominators Platinum 2400 C9 right now. I doubt that's memory fault that you can't run them @2400. I would check voltages etc ( for 2400 you already have to raise VCCSA/IO ).
Also check Samsung profiles on your board ( there should be list of profiles in memory tab ).
You can get TridentX 2400 10-12-12 but you may have the same issues at 2400 if you can't set Corsairs at 2400.

LOL i literally just bought tridentx 2400 10-12-12 mems, 3770k and a maximus v formula.

im willing to trade those ram modules if you want :p

Im try all profiles and not luck booting with 2400 mhz speed

is it better to buy 2400MHz with Latency 10-12-12-31-2N ?
or lower speed 2133 mhz with latency CL9-11-11-31 ?

Try manually 2400 10-12-12-31 2N , VCCSA 1.3V , VCCIO 1.25V , memory voltage 1.65V , all other settings at auto.

TridentX are one of the most popular high end series and are also much cheaper than Dominators but all these kits are based on similar chips. That's why I am saying to check your memory/BIOS settings as exchanging memory to other series won't help.
