Hi,

Current system is as in signature. Got error 00. CPU is in fact bad on test.

Going to replace the system with a Z390 Mobo/New CPU/New Monoblock

I want to use the GPUs, Memory, SSD from the old system.

I was:

1) Planning to to buy an ASUS Maximus XI Hero Wifi (289$ on Amazon - seems like a good deal?)

2) Planning to get the following monoblock: https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-momentum-rog-maximus-xi-hero-d-rgb-plexi

EK-Momentum ROG Maximus XI Hero D-RGB - Plexi

3) Planning to get Intel Core i9-9900 KF https://www.amazon.com/Intel-BX8068..._1?keywords=9900kf&qid=1580535187&s=pc&sr=1-1

Do these components make sense - are any of the clearly wrong/dumb/suboptimal?

Any advice you would give me?

System is just for gaming - the other system was fine.

there is just so little logic to the 9900KF, some places you can get the 9900K, with graphics, for $5-$10 more.

If the difference is a few dollars, just get the k. That or have another discrete GPU on the side just in case.

Will you be overclocking? If not and money is an issue, you can probably get by with an less expensive motherboard.
